Arrogant Bastard Ale
Specialty Beer     7.2%
Stone Brewing Co., Escondido, CA

This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality or depth. We would suggest you stick to more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that its tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal.

Avery Ellie's Brown Ale
American Brown Ale     5.5%
Avery Brewing, Boulder, CO

This beautiful, deep russet brew has the sweet and somewhat nutty character of Adam Avery’s late (1992-2002) Chocolate Lab, for which it is named. Chocolate malt gives this beer a brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, while subtle hopping gives it an overall drinkability that’s second to none–just like Ellie!

Avery Hog Heaven Barleywine Style Ale
American Barleywine     9.2%
Avery Brewing, Boulder, CO

A well-hopped American interpretation of the richest and strongest of the English ales. The hop character should be evident throughout, but does not have to be unbalanced. The alcohol strength and hop bitterness often combine to leave a very long finish.

Coronado Sock Knocker IIPA
Imperial IPA     8.5%
Coronado Brewing Company, Coronado, CA

An intensely hoppy, very strong pale ale without the big maltiness and/or deeper malt flavors of an American barleywine. Strongly hopped, but clean, lacking harshness, and a tribute to historical IPAs. Drinkability is an important characteristic; not a heavy, sipping beer.

Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Paso Robles, CA

Refreshing wheat or rye beers that can display more hop character and less yeast character than their German cousins.

Latitude 33 Double Hump
Imperial IPA     10.0%
Latitude 33 Brewing Company, Vista, CA

Double Hump is our contribution to the West Coast / San Diego Double IPA. A coppery amber in color with a moderately persistent ivory-white head and malty, citrus and herbs aroma, American Two-Row and English Pale and Munich malts provide some light, sugary flavors well-balanced by the pronounced bitterness of the “3C” (Columbus, Chinook and Cascade) hops. All-in-all a very well-structured beer that makes it hard to believe that it’s a double IPA.

Left Coast Asylum
Belgian Tripel
Left Coast Brewing Company, San Clemente, CA

Strongly resembles a Strong Golden Ale but slightly darker and somewhat fuller-bodied. Usually has a more rounded malt flavor but should not be sweet.

Mission Hefeweizen
Weizen/Weissbier     5.5%
Mission Brewery, San Diego, CA

Our award winning Bavarian-Style Hefeweizen is unlike the cloying lemon-laden beers that flood the market under the same name. Ours is a classic, a pious ode to the summer style, replete with hints of banana, clove and pear. It’s all in all refreshing, and no fruit was added-nor needed. Instead the complex character of the beer is produced through mastery, detail and authentic Bavarian yeasts.
